Solo Debut Under His Own Name are About to Release!
September last year, after ASIALIVE 2005, L'Arc~en~Ciel still exist in various activities. After releasing single and album, HYDE and yukihiro (acid android) do their national tour recently, tetsu also start his solo activity with Creature Creature, and at last, Ken also start his solo activity. This time, he doesn't appear as SONS OF ALL PUSSYS, but start his solo debut under his own name.
The first single 'Speed' will be released on 8/23 (Wednesday), contains 1 original song (karaoke also included) + 2 cover songs, so it will be 4 songs. The title 'Speed' is taken from the song written by Ken. He want to give a deep emotion in this song using middle tune's emotional sound.
Next, the second song 'Empty Rooms' is the cover of Gary Moore. It will represent Moore and Rock Ballad, in more mellow sound. Then, the third song, is the cover of the theme song of 'Isoshigi'/Sandpiper (America's 1965 movie) - 'The Shadow of Your Smile'. In this standard style song, it's kinda experiment and with the guitar instrument, this song is impressive. It's a good and deep work.
Why he does solo without S.O.A.P, why in the 3 songs, there's only 1 original song? Well, wait the article interview in this September edition magazine.
